Karin J. Close (nee Johnson) passed away on March 22, 2023. She was 84. Born in Bloomfield, she lived in Wheaton, Ill. before moving to Virginia in 2008. Visiting will be on Tuesday March 28, 2023 from 9 until 11:00 a.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. After her service burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
Wife of the late Jack Close, she is the mother of Bradley Y. Close (Raena) and Mya A. Barnes (Tom). Sister of George Johnson (Ann) and Martha Gavin (the late Bill). she is also survived by her grandchildren; Nathaniel, Evelyn and Jane.
