Francisco M. De Los Santos, 78 of Jersey City passed away on March 3, 2023.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Francisco at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Friday March 10 from 5-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen’s Church in Kearny on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Manila, Philippines, Francisco came to the United States in 1970, settling in Brooklyn. He was a longtime Jersey City resident. Francisco worked as an office manager in the publishing industry for many years. An avid bowler and golfer, he also liked to go fishing and dancing. Francisco especially enjoyed going out to eat, and never turned down a shopping trip.
Above all, Francisco was a devoted family man. He treasured time spent with his grandchildren, caring for his wife, and visiting family members in the Philippines ever year.
Francisco was the beloved husband of the late Iluminada; loving father of Michael De Los Santos and his wife Maritess, Francine Miller and her husband Scott and Noel De Los Santos and his wife Aileen. He was the proud grandfather of Michael, Gabriel, Marielle, Alexandra, Leah, Jordyn and Vaughn. He is also survived by his siblings Linda, Cecil, Nicholas, Cristina and Carmencita, and was predeceased by his siblings Alberto, Beningo and Susan.
