Helder Paulino Martins, 45 passed away suddenly in Kearny, NJ, on Friday, April 14, 2023. He was born on January 8, 1978 in Girabolhos, Distrito de Seia, Portugal and came to the United States in 1996, and resided in Belleville for many years, before settling in Newark, NJ.
Helder was currently a Foreman for JR Cruz Construction of Aberdeen, NJ. An active parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church In Newark, NJ and a motorcycle rider with the Mondego Motorcycle Club of Kearny, NJ.
Beloved to all who’s path he crossed, Helder was loving and devoted father to his children, Sofia and Daniel; devoted son to his parents Manuel Martins and Conceicao Martins; and dear brother to Rui Martins.
Visitation for Helder will be on Wednesday April 19 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 8 to 9 AM at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny, N.J 07032. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Newark, NJ on Thursday 9:30 AM. Cremation and final resting to follow privately.
