Felicita Rivera, 88 of Newark passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Felicita at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Thursday from 9 - 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Newark at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Isabella, Puerto Rico, Felicita lived in Manhattan for many years before moving to Newark 35 years ago. She worked as a cleaning person for Vulcan Basement Waterproofing. Felicita enjoyed playing Bingo, and cherished time spent with her loving family.
Felicita is survived by her loving children Gladys Cruz, Ramon Cruz, Ana Cruz and Carmen Alfaro, and by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
