Maria Perez passed away on February 26, 2024. She was 100 years of age. Visiting will be on Wednesday February 27, 2024 from 5 until 7:00 p.m.at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. There will be no funeral activity on Thursday or Friday. Relatives and friends are invited to return to the funeral home on Saturday March 1, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. in St. Stephens Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Maria was born in Muros, Spain and lived many years in Kearny before moving to Wayne Township 2 years ago. Wife of the late David Perez, she was the mother of Sebastian Perez (his wife Francisca), late David Perez, late Maria Lago (her husband Manuel). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Bianca, Vanessa, Maria, Noelia and Lorena along with her great grandchildren; Leo, Lucas, Naia, Sebastian and Mateo.
