Christine Ferrie Jablonski

Christine Ferrie Jablonski sadly passed away while skiing at Alta Ski Resort in Utah. She was 53. Born in Norwich, Conn., she now lives in Kearny, NJ. Visiting will be on Sunday March 17 at The Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny from 1 until 7:00 p.m. Mass will follow on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephens Church. Private cremation will follow, and Christine’s remains will soon be entombed at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum in North Arlington.

Christine was a parishioner of St. Stephens Church where she was involved with The Hospitality Ministry, The Out Reach Group, The Food Pantry and The Thanksgiving Luncheon. She was a member and past President of The Junior Woman’s Club of Arlington and past Co-President of The Arlington Woman’s Club. Christine was an adult leader and committee member of Unit 305. She was active with The Friends of Erin, Friends of The Library and served as Vice President of The Kearny Public Library Board of Trustees . She was Class Agent for The College of The Holy Cross and was part of The Parent’s Spirituality Group at St. Peters Prep. Christine was also involved with Norwich Free Academy Alumni Council and was a former member of The College of The Holy Cross Crusader Good Time Marching band and was in the Hall of Fame. She was Assistant Vice President for Afinity Partnerships @ Elavon, Inc. of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Beloved wife of Superior Court Assignment Judge Jeffrey R. Jablonski and devoted mother of Nathaniel Healy and Eliot Healy Jablonski. She was also the daughter of Ilda (nee Carvalho) and the late James F. Ferrie, sister of James A. Ferrie “Jimmy” (his wife Jennifer). Daughter in-law of Frank and Teddie (nee Gillespie) Jablonski. She is also the sister-in- law of Julie A. Hamon (her husband Jeffrey) and aunt of Cole and Read Hamon.
