Wlasta Smith (nee Provaznik), 90 passed away on April 28, 2024 at Complete Care East Orange.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Wlasta at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Friday May 3 from 10am to 12 noon. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 12 noon, and cremation will be held privately.
Born in Forked River, Wlasta was a longtime Kearny resident. She worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone many years ago. Wlasta loved puzzles, and making crafts. She most cherished time spent at her trailer in Pennsylvania.
Wlasta was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Smith; loving mother of Arthur Smith, Jr. and Suzzanne; grandmother of four and great-grandmother of six. She was predeceased by her sister and by her five brothers.
