Kishor M. Desai, 75, of Kearny, passed away at home on May 26, 2024.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services for Kishor at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny, on Wednesday, May 29, from 9 to 11 AM. Cremation will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetary, Clifton.
Born in Dwarka, India, Kishor has lived in Kearny since 1977. He was a proud social worker for Hudson County Social Services in Jersey City for many years prior to his retirement in 2011.
A profoundly spiritual man, he loved attending Satsang and visiting temples. Kishor also enjoyed going to the movies and taking relaxing drives in his car. He cherished a fine meal and most treasured trips to the Jersey Shore, especially Asbury Park.
Kishor was the beloved husband of Sandhya Desai, the loving father to a son, Chintan Desai, a daughter-in-law, Emma, and a daughter, Khyati Desai. He was a dearly loved member of the Desai family and the extended Anavil Samaj family; he will be greatly missed.
