John Herbert Hughes passed away on September 23, 2024. He was 57. Visiting will be on Friday September 27, 2024 at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny beginning at 9:00 a.m. His service will be at 11:30 a.m. and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
John graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken. He also held a masters degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University. He was an avid Jets and Rangers fan, loved reading about history and enjoyed his hobby of buying and selling merchandise online.
Son of Lillian (nee Knapp) and the late Herbert Hughes, he was the nephew of Eleanor Ruggiero and Lois and Bob Hughes. Also surviving is his special cousin Mark Moschella along with many other relatives and friends.
