Michael Smallfence, 81 of Kearny passed away on January 11, 2025.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Michael at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Saturday January 18 from 9-10 AM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 10 AM, and entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Quebec, Canada, Michael served in the United States Air Force, stationed in Greenland and England from 1962 to 1966. After his honorable discharge, he lived in Kearny for 60 years. He worked as a garageman for Hertz Rental Car Agency for many years. Michael enjoyed the small things in life, especially a fine cup of coffee.
Michael was the beloved husband of Anita Smallfence; loving father of Darlene Smallfence and the late Clifford Smallfence; devoted grandfather of Justin Timley, Suzanne Smallfence and Clifford John Smallfence; and great-grandfather of Elianna, Luis, Jayla and Angelo. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Smallfence.
