Margaret Murray Rivera of Harrison passed away on October 16, 2025. She was 76 years old. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home on Wednesday October 22nd, 2025, from 6-9.
Margaret (Peggy) was a Caregiver/Aide for the elderly, but she had many roles in many people’s lives. She was larger than life and the life of the party. She made everyone around her laugh, feel loved and feel important.
An eternal optimist almost to a fault, she always had faith that everything will work out. She loved cooking for everyone and was always willing to help in everything whether it be baking for the kids at school, attending sports functions or donating to so many charities. She also had the knack of making the most mundane tasks outrageously funny and memorable.
She was the beloved wife of Wilson and loving Mother of Natasha and Edward. She is predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth and Patricia, brother Daniel and is survived by her sister Barbara. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jada and Jude. She was also a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Titi and Friend to so many and her impact on the lives of the people she loved was immense.
She will be deeply missed and this life won’t be the same without her.
