It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Antonio Gil Cunha, who left us peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, October 25th, 2025.
Antonio was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He will be remembered for his sense of humor as he loved making those around him laugh, his kindness, strength, and the unconditional love he had for his family and friends. His gentle spirit and warm smile touched the lives of many.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Sameiro, his daughters Angie and Melina (Brendan), and his cherished “amor pequenina,” granddaughter Harper and many relatives and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. A Funeral Mass celebrating Antonio’s life will be held on Thursday, October 30th, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, 14 Washington Avenue, Kearny.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
He will be deeply missed and loved and forever will be our “Campeao Dragao.”
