Phyllis DeFranco (nee Giordano), of Kearny passed away on March 11, 2025. She was 78. Visiting will be on Friday March 14 from 3 until 7:00 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny. Mass will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stephens Church and entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
Phyllis was an active parishoner at St. Stephens Church and enjoyed her membership with the Womans Club in Kearny. She is retired from West Hudson Hospital, where she was a Nurse aide.
Wife of the late Frank she is survived by her daughter Evelina and her husband Steve, her two brothers; Joseph and Dominic Giordano along with her cherished grandchildren; Kylene, Mikayla, Victor and Chelsey.
