Antonio Paiva, 66 of Newark passed away on September 12, 2025.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Antonio at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Monday September 15 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Newark on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Murtosa, Portugal, Antonio has lived in Newark since 1980. A hardworking man, Antonio worked in the construction business for many years. He most cherished time spent with his family- especially with his children and grandchildren.
Antonio was the beloved husband of Ana; loving father of Michael Paiva and his wife Nathalie and Diana Paiva and her husband Jessie; cherished grandfather of Octavia and Patricio; and dear brother of Fernando, Maria, Felipe, and the late Jose.
