John L. Palmer, Jr., passed away on February 5, 2026. He was 77. Born in Newark, he lived in Kearny before moving to North Arlington 45 years ago. Visiting will be on Saturday February 7, 2026, from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Private cremation will follow.
John loved hunting and playing golf. He was an Army Veteran and was a retired Lead Control operator for PSEG in Jersey City. Husband of the late Madeline A. (nee Webers), he was the father of Wendy and Brian Palmer (his wife Michelle). Brother of Jean Toropiw (her husband George) and the late David Palmer. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kathryn, Liam, Aidan, Will and Maddie.
