Aurea Neira passed away on May 18, 2026. She was 93. Born in Lima, Peru she lived many years in Newark and Lyndhurst. Visiting will be on Thursday May 21 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny. Her funeral Mass will be on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Queen of Peace Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, both in North Arlington.
Aurea was the spouse of the late Ismael Moscoso and mother of Ana Moscoso, Betty Moscoso, Sonia Jara and Emperatriz Moscoso. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
