Javier Esteves passed away at home on July 6, 2026. He was 64. Visiting will be on Thursday July 9 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. Relatives and friends can return to the funeral home on Friday by 9:00 a.m. and Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephens Church and private cremation will follow.
Javier was a Police Officer in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was a member of The F.O.P. Precinct 68. He was involved as a first responder after the 911 attack at The World Trade Centers.
He was the son of the late Genero and Dora and loving father of Hailley and Sierra Estevez. He was also the beloved brother of Sandra, Lesley, Amparo, Leticia, Doris and the late Omar .
