Ronald J. Solinski passed away at home on September 12, 2026. He was 84. Visiting will be on Tuesday September 15, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. Family and friends will be invited to share a memory about Ron at 6:00 p.m. His cremation will be private.
Ron was the loving husband of Carol (nee McMurtrie) and devoted father to; Brian Solinski, Kenneth Solinski (Jamie Chesney), (Kim O’Sullivan) and Michael Solinski (Tracey). He was the brother of the late; John and Patrick Solinski and Ginny Karolewicz. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren; Kyle, Jacob, Olivia, Nicholas and Jonathon.
Ron loved sports and was a strong Giants fan. He coached Kearny Little League and Football. He recently retired from the Kearny Board of Education where he worked as a grounds keeper. He loved his job and was truly devoted to making the students’ experience as great as possible.
In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. He held this charity dear to his heart.
