Edmond E. "Big Cap" Morris 67 of Newark formerly of Kearny died on 8/4/15 at home surrounded by his family.
Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Friday 4-8PM. Services will be at 7pm. Cremation will be private.
Mr. Morris was a truck driver with T.J. McDermott, Kearny for 10 years retiring 3 years ago. He served with The United States Air Force during The Vietnam War and is a member of The American Legion in Bellebille. He also was a bartender at Grahams Tavern in Kearny.
He is the beloved husband of Diane Kimball Morris. Father of Iris Gallagher and her fiancé Robert Britting and Courtney Centi and her fiancé Steven Taub. Brother of Charlene Morris and Patricia Ruesenberg. Grandfather of Alex, Andrew, Aiden, Chloe and Robert, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
