Frank Ploghoft 81, of Kearny died on April 26, 2016.Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Friday 2-4 & 6-8PM. Services will be on Saturday at 10am at the funeral home. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Beloved Husband of 62 years of "Hedy" Helwida Buchholz Ploghoft. Father of Wayne and Kevin Ploghoft. Brother of Hal Ploghoft (Mary), Jimmy McCarthy, Michael and Donna Ploghoft. Grandfather of Timothy.
Frank was raised in Iowa before moving to N.J. and eventually moved to Kearny. He was an active Mason for 45 years. He was a former member of The Hoboken Soccer Club and was an avid gardener and tremendously enjoyed volunteering and helping others. He was a good neighbor.
