Alcinda Fernandes passed away at home on October 28, 2018. Born in Lugar da Igreja, Friestas, Valenca, Portugal. She lived in Harrison before moving to North Arlington 17 years ago. Visiting will be Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Mass Wednesday 9:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church in Harrison. Her burial will be in Friestas, Portugal.
Alcinda is survived by her daughter and her husband Maria and John Baptista Oliveira, her granddaughters Elisabeth Oliveira and Sylvia Ende along with her great grandchildren Aaron and Haley Perez and Samantha and Jared Ende.
