Carol Ann Kennedy, 69 of Berkeley Twp. passed away on July 25, 2026.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Carol at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Wednesday July 29 from 9 to 11 AM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Jersey City, Carol was a longtime Lyndhurst resident until moving to Berkeley five years ago. She worked in retail throughout her career, and most recently served as a manager for DSW in Paramus prior to her retirement in 2020.
Carol enjoyed making creative arts and crafts, and was an avid reader. She also spent time supporting her favorite teams, the Miami Dolphins and the New Jersey Devils. She treasured friendships made in her ceramics group in Berkeley, and had fond memories of trips to the Outer Banks with friends that she called family. Above all, Carol treasured time spent with her siblings, nieces and nephews.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (nee Glover) Kennedy, Carol was the dear sister of Elizabeth Ronan and her husband Louis, Barbara McAuley and her partner Christopher Henry, Kevin Kennedy and his wife Allyson and Sean Kennedy and his wife Lori. She was the loving aunt of Rick Ronan, Allison Ronan, John McAuley, Amanda Sinatra and her husband Joe, Megan Kennedy, Shannon Kennedy, Kirsten Kennedy, Kathryn Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Skye McAuley and Brooklyn Henry. She is also survived by her great-nephew Patrick Sinatra, and by many caring aunts, cousins and special friends.
