Lillian Fender (nee Mason) , a lifelong Kearny resident died February 5, 2013 in The Inglemoor Rehabilitation Center in Livingston. She was 91.
Visiting will be on Friday February 8, 2013 in The Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. from 4 until 8 pm. Mass will be on Saturday at 10 am in St. Cecilias Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. If you care to go the funeral home prior to Mass, please be there at 9:00 am.
Lillian worked for RCA during the war and then raised her loving family. The Fender family wants to acknowledge the tender loving care that Carmen Cherubini showed Lillian every evening, enhancing her quality of life.
Wife of the late James Fender, she is survived by her children Jay (and Mary) Fender, Stephen Fender, Dr. Gary Fender, Donna Fender and Linda (and Jerry) Nolan. Sister of Jim (and Lily) Mason She is also survived by her grandchildren Kim (and Mike), Chris (and Rose), Genna, Conor and Stephen and her great grandchildren Tristan, Gerrit, Nicole and Jonathan.
