Dominick Candeliere died February 7, 2013 in Clara Maass Hospital. He was 91. Born in Italy he lived in Harrison before moving to Kearny 52 years ago.
Visiting will be on Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Mass Monday at 10 am in St. Cecilias Curch, burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Candeliere served in The Italian Army during WWII and is a retired Tool Maker from Worthington Pump. His two great passions were his family and gardening.
Husband of Isa (nee Nastri), he is survived by his children and their spouses John Candeliere, Rose and Niel O'Donnell and Angela and Joe Porcelli. Brother of Eugenia Talarico and Frances Ruggiero he is also survived by his grandchildren Patrick, Michael, Lisa, and Christina and his great grandchildren Quinn and Molly.
