Dorothy Vuolo (nee Landi) passed away on June 18, 2013 at Clara Maass Hospital. She was 92. Born in Harrison she lived most of her life in Kearny. Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Mass Saturday 10 am in St. Cecilias Church, burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Dorothy was a member of The St. Cecilia Seniors, Seniors Inc., and the Benstead Center all in Kearny. She had worked in retail sales at Kiddy Corner in Harrison.
Wife of the late Ralph J. Vuolo, Sr., she is survived by her daughter Janice McCarthy and her son Ralph J., Jr. along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Ralph and Mike Landi.
