Charles G. Turro died July 8, 2013 in The Linwood Care Center. He was 85. Born in Harrison he lived many years in Kearny before moving to Galloway 15 years ago. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 4 until 8 pm at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Mass Thursday 10 30 am in St. Stephens Church. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.
Mr. Turro retired from United Airlines where he was the store keeper. He served in the Army from 1950-1952.
Husband of the late Dolly (nee Ray) he is the father of Charles Turro (Lea) and Mark Turro (Kelly). Brother of Ceilia Rosamilia, James, Steven and Michael Turro, brother in law of Dorothy Gonzalez. He is also survived by his grandchildren CJ (Nicole) , Stephen, Leigh, Kayla and Michelle.
