Francis M. Johnstone 65, of Toms River formerly of Kearny died on 2/20/14.
Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Sunday 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Monday 10am at St. Cecilia's Church Kearny.
Born in Dundee, Scotland, Mr. Johnstone lived in Kearny before moving to Toms River 3 years ago. He was currently an elevator inspector with BIU Corporation and with The Township of Montclair.
He was a member of The Irish American Club and The Scotts Club of Kearny.
He is the beloved husband of 45 years of Mary Bell Johnstone. Dear son of Roselind Trainer Johnstone and the late Michael C. Johnstone. Father of Thomas M., and Paula Johnstone and Frances Michelle ( Jonathan) Campos. Brother of John G. (Carol) and Michael C. Johnstone, Roselind (late Michael) Ryder and Pauline (Irvin) Hale. Grandfather of 2 grandchildren. He is also survived by his extended family in Scotland and America.
