Martha A. Repp (nee Metsopulos), of Lebanon IL, formerly of Kearny, NJ died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, in Cedar Ridge Rehabilitation Center, IL. She was 86 years old. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Wilfred Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr., Kearny, NJ. and Memorial Mass will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Clifton, NJ. Interment is in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Martha had 26 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service before retiring in 1999. She was a caring, loving and giving person with a heart of gold, she traveled the world, enjoyed a good time and never met a person she didn’t like.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph of 53 years, her parents, James and Anna (nee Valaveris) her brothers Charles, George, Jerry, Louis, Nick and sister Helen. She is survived by her beloved son Joseph, daughter-in-law Nancy, grandsons, Nicholas and Thomas, and her brothers Peter and John. She holds a special place in her heart for Daniel and Gabrielle. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
