Bernadette C. Palmisano (nee Lyons) 77, of Union died on 5/22/15 at home.
Visiting will be at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Wednesday 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Thursday at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Palmisano grew up in The Ironbound Section of Newark, Graduated Kearny High School and lived in East Orange before moving to Union.
She was an Office Manager at Benefit Program Services, Union for 18 years. Prior to that she was an Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager with Hudson City Savings Bank, Roseland.
She is the beloved wife of 55 years of Harry Palmisano. Dear mother of Gary (Dawn and her son Michael Haines) Palmisano. Sister of Patricia Crumlish, James (Patricia) Lyons and the late Robert Lyons. Grandmother of Christopher and Rachel. Sister in law of Virginia (Martin) Landa. Aunt of 6 loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many friends.
