Valerie Truskolawski (nee Guladwinski) passed away at home on December 17, 2018. She was 94. Born in Bayonne she lived many years in Kearny. Visiting will be at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass Friday 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephens Church. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Valerie was a co/founder of the Polish Cultural Foundation and was a member of The Arlington Womans Club. Wife of the late Joseph, she was the mother of Celeste Truskolawski, Dr. Justine Szkudlarek (Lech), John Truskolawski (Lisa), Thomas Truskolawski (Janet) and the late Zita Ohe. Sister of Leona Landers, she is also survived by her grandchildren Emily, Kim, Catherine, Julia, Alexis, Kara and Deanna.
