Helen T. Branin

Helen T.  Branin, died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, June 8th.   Helen was born April 9, 1939 in Newark, NJ to George and Helen Branin.  She lived in Kearny, NJ where she worked for Western Electric and Belcor for over 45 years eventually retiring in 2005.  She enjoyed travelling and was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic church in Kearny.  She spent the last three years of her life residing in Sussex County, NJ.

 Helen was pre-deceased by her parents, her brother George Branin and sister Evelyn Schomaker.  Helen is survived by her sisters Janet Aiello and Lorraine Lupo, in addition to her brother Norman Branin and his wife Marie.  She leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, John and Mark Schomaker, Donna Guerriero, Sandra Clarizio, George Branin III, Steve, Brian and Dawn Aiello, Paul, Joey, Chris and Michael Lupo and James and Kevin Branin in addition to many great nieces and nephews.

 Helen will be remembered as the kindest and most gentle soul by all whom enjoyed the blessing of knowing her.  She was an angel on earth.

 Visitation will be Thursday June 13th from 4-8pm at Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ.  Funeral Mass Friday, June 14th at 11am, Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 136 Davis Avenue, Kearny, NJ.
