Francisco Fernandes passed away June 11, 2019. He was 74. Born in Portugal he grew up in Brazil and lived the past 41 years in Kearny. Visiting will be at Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny on Friday June 14, 2019 from 4 until 8 p.m. His service will be in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Francisco was the husband of Dagmar (Fischer DeMelo) and father of Alex Fernandes (Keri), Diana O’Grady (Kevin) and Frank Fernandes. Brother of Benito Borges he is also survived by his grandchildren; Luca and Emme. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to The St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
