Amadeus Vilarinho, 87 of Kearny passed away on October 30, 2020.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Amadeus at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Tuesday from 9 - 11:30 AM. A Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
Born in Portugal, Amadeus settled in Newark in 1985 before moving to Kearny in 1990. He worked as a machine operator in the sheet metal industry for many years before retiring. Deeply devoted to his faith, he enjoyed reading the bible. Amadeus also liked soccer, and especially loved spending time with his family.
Amadeus was the beloved husband of Lucia (nee Eugenio) Vilarinho; loving father of Joao Vilarinho, Jose Vilarinho, Carlos Vilarinho, Lucilia Vilarinho, Paola Matos and Rosie Branco, he is also survived by many treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
