Jully John, 44 of Harrison entered into eternal life on November 4, 2020 after a long and courageous battle.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation for Jully at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Monday November 9 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Callao, Peru, Jully lived in Weehawken before moving to Harrison over 20 years ago. Kind and compassionate all her life, she proudly became a licensed practical nurse to help those in need. Jully loved to travel, and especially liked taking road trips. An excellent cook, she most treasured time spent with her family.
The cherished daughter of Carlos and Gladys John, Jully was the wife of Manuel Colon; loving mother of Jonathan Colon and Tiffany Castellanos; dear sister of Shirley John, Henry John and his wife Cherrie, and Carlos John, Jr. and his wife Blanca. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Susan B. Komen for the Cure.
