Michael Shaker, Sr. passed away on May 17, 2020 at home. He was 99 years of age. Born in Frackville, PA., he lived in Kearny before moving to Rutherford 12 years ago. Private burial arrangements were through Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. Mr. Shaker was laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Michael was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a machinist for The Hyatt Roller Bearing Division of General Motors. Husband of the late Nancy (nee Madzi) He was the father of Andrea, Michael Jr., Robert and Evelyn Shaker. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Ryan, Jenny, Mark, John, Evan and Emily along with his great grandchildren; Owen, James and Avery.
