Anne B Armitt (nee Mulraney) passed away on July 15., 2020. She was 92. Born in Coatbridge, Scotland she immigrated to America in 1951 and called Kearny her home. Private arrangements are by the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home in Kearny. Anne was a waitress at Tops Diner for many years. Wife of the late Bernard Tierney and John Armitt, she was the mother of Margaret Orlowicz (John), Robert Tierney (Toni), John Tierney (Carol), Michael Tierney (Merie), Ann Girdwood (Victor) and the late James Tierney (surviving her also is her daughter in law Donna. Sister of David Mulraney , Mary Gleason and the late James Mulraney, she is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
