Stefania Hapunik (nee Zieba), 81 of Bayville passed away on July 21, 2020.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Harrison on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home in Kearny.
Born in Poland, Stefania lived in Texas and in Queens, NY before residing in Lyndhurst for 20 years. She moved to Bayville eight years ago. Stefania was a maintenance worker in New York for many years. Always staying up on current events, she kept her mind sharp until the very end. Stefania enjoyed cooking, and doing puzzles, but above all cherished time spent with family.
Stefania was the beloved wife of the late Jerzy Hapunik; loving mother of Leszek Hapunik, Jolanta Siedlecki and the late Andrzej Hapunik. She is also survived by her eight treasured grandchildren.
