Susan G. Hunter, 66 of Lyndhurst, formerly of Kearny passed away at home on November 28, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Susan at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Thursday December 2 from 5-7 PM, with a funeral service being celebrated at 5:30 PM. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Newark, Susan was a lifelong Kearny resident until moving to Lyndhurst two years ago. She worked as a secretary for Saiber Attorneys at Law, retiring many years ago. She enjoyed frequent trips to the casino, but most cherished caring for her loving family.
Susan was the beloved longtime companion of Kenneth Mathers; loving mother of Christopher Mathers and his fiance Taylor; and adoring grandmother of Kensie. She is also survived by her cherished sister Patricia Ksyniak, many loving nieces and nephews, and by her devoted dogs Kira and Khloe.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
