Michael Bianchi passed away at home on April 21, 2021. He was 76. Born in Newark he has lived in Kearny for the past 41 years. Visiting will be on Friday April 23rd from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. Mass will be on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stephens Church and burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.
Mike was a bus mechanic for NJ Transit. He enjoyed going to car shows and meets. He especially treasured his 1980 Corvette. Husband of Lorraine (nee Zakrzewski) and father of Michael John Bianchi, Nina Marie Amador (husband Nuno) and Joseph Michael Bianchi (wife Meg). Brother of Michael, Rose and the late Claire, he is also survived by his grandchildren; Nicholas and Nathan.
