Danielle Elhakim of North Arlington passed away peacefully on April 28, 2021 after a long illness. He was 85.
Funeral is from the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Monday at 9 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen’s Church in Kearny at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation is on Sunday from 1-5 PM at the funeral home.
Danielle owned and operated Danielle’s Hair Design Studio in North Arlington for 40 years, retiring in 2018. He loved home remodeling and building things, and cherished working in his garden every year. Danielle also enjoyed dining out and going to the casinos.
Danielle was the beloved husband of Diane (nee Bruno) Elhakim; brother of Souraya and Nassif, and the late Tanios, Warde and Jamile. He was especially close to his nephew Chaker and niece Madeleine, and had many other nieces and nephews, both here and in Lebanon.
