Maureen V. O’Neill passed away on June 4, 2021 in Alabama. She was 81. Born in Bayville, N.Y. she lived in Kearny for 35 years and then California for 25 years before moving to Alabama. Visiting will be on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 10:00 am in St Stephens Church on Friday and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Wife of the late Mike O’Neill, she was the mother of; Kerry Carty (husband Mike), Pattie Clemons (husband Josh), Eileen McGee (husband Jim) Mike O’Neill (wife Rachel) and Maureen York (husband Jason). Sister of Hugh Toal and the late Sue Donovan, Kathleen Cairns, Patricia Fanning, Daniel Toal, John Toal and Leo Toal. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, Alexis, Madison, MacKenzie, Emily, Olivia, Madelyn, Kylie, Michael, Jackson, Forest, Grace, Faith, Wheeler, Sam and Abigale. Maureen retired from Fidelity Bank in Newark, NJ. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
