Geraldine R. Doffont “Jean” passed away on June 4, 2021. She was 95. Visiting will be on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 pm at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. Mass Tuesday at 10:00 am in Holy Cross Church in Harrison. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow.
Jean was a member of The Holy Cross Rosary Society and The Vincentian Society. Jean was a County Committee Woman for Hudson County and was the President of The Harrison Gardens Tenants Association. Jean worked at Harrison Baking Company for 25 years.
She was the wife of the late Vincent W., mother of Alan Doffont (his wife Maureen), Vincent Doffont (his wife Mary Lynn), Jane Carey (her husband John), John Doffont (his wife Mary) and the late Duane Doffont (his wife Kathy). She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; Pamela, Alison, Vincent, Tara, John, Kristen, Taryn, Brianne, Michael, Brian, Kyra, Jennine, Lauren and Amy and her 11 great grandchildren; Hudson, Nolan, Liam, Lieghton, Thomas, Kyla, James, Brendan, Katherine, Anna, Ella, Thomas and Frances. Also her nieces Janet Curtis, Ruth Hayes and Kathleen Ritacco.
