David Robert Bridge
November 16, 1943 – January 15, 2022
David Robert Bridge, 78 of Mansfield, NJ passed away unexpectedly at home on January 15, 2022. David was born in Newark, NJ on November 16, 1943, to Alice and David Bridge. He attended Kearny High School and Fairleigh Dickenson University.
David a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served in the Vietnam War. He spent most of his career in the trucking industry and in his spare time, he was an avid boater. David spent the last few years retired and enjoying time with his granddaughters. He was a devoted Father, Grandfather, and friend, always willing to offer advice or help in any way he could. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. David is survived by his children, David A. Bridge and his wife Cindy Parisi of Glen Gardner, NJ, Allison and Keith Clemens of Mansfield, NJ and Micki Bridge and Gillian Columbus of Florida, NY, Granddaughters, Kyleigh Clemens, Natalie Bridge, Kaylynn Clemens and Aila Columbus-Bridge, Cousins, the Lipesky and Autenreith families. He was predeceased by parents Alice and David Bridge, twin brother Charles R. Bridge and Cousin Ruth E. Wiseman.
Memorial services will be held at Armitage Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny, NJ 07032 Sunday, January 30, from 1-4pm.
Memorial donations may be made in David’s name to the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc. or The Wounded Warrior Project.
