Teresa Mateo Borges, 75 of Toms River, formerly of Newark, passed away on January 26, 2022.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Teresa at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Monday from 5-9 PM. Burial will be Tuesday at 10 AM in Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
Born in Puerto Rico, Teresa was a longtime Newark resident. A devoted mother and caregiver, Teresa most cherished time spent with her family and friends. Her home was always open for visitors, and all who loved her knew how deeply she cared about them. She could always be relied upon for love and support.
Teresa was the beloved wife of the late Jaime Sepulveda; loving mother of Evelyn Sepulveda, Marisol Sepulveda and Jaime Sepulveda, Jr.; dear grandmother of Emily Soto, Wilson E. Soto, Jay Sepulveda, Matthew Sepulveda, Isiah Sepulveda, Anthony Sepulveda and Kayla Loureiro; and adoring great-grandmother of four.
