Norma Jean Caputo (nee Cofano), of Kearny and Normandy Beach N.J. passed away at home on October 6, 2022. She was just shy of her 95th birthday. Arrangements are by Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-6 p.m. and she will be buried with her beloved husband the late Dr. Edward J. Caputo “Pop Pop” in Holy Cross Cemetery during a private ceremony.
Norma and her husband had been active members of The Forest Hill Field Club for many years. She loved to golf and bowl. She was an avid Giants fan and LSU fan. She loved her summers at the jersey shore and participating in her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities.
She is the loving mother of Michele A. Trevenen (her husband Cal), Edward J. Caputo, Jr. and Stephen A. Caputo. Sister of the late Arthur J. Cofano, she is also survived by her grandchildren; Brittany, Matthew and Will along with her great grandchildren; Abby, Jack, Elizabeth, Emory and Harrison.
