Vincent B. Manzo

Pastor Vincent B. Manzo was born on September 24, 1949, and went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2022, at the age of 72.

Son of Vincent “Jim” and Nancy Manzo, Vincent was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. Vincent had a dramatic conversion from sin to Christ. Being delivered from the streets of N.Y., Vincent soon after attended Zion Bible College. After graduating Zion Bible College, Vincent became pastor of a small church in Kearny, New Jersey in 1973. Through his leadership, anointing and vision, Vincent transformed his surroundings and expanded the church to an international standing. Vincent faithfully served that congregation until the day the Lord called him home. 

Through his ministries based out of Kearny, New Jersey - City of Hope International Church, Kearny Christian Academy, and Loving Hands Daycare Center - Vincent changed the lives of thousands of people all over the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Vincent was known worldwide for his unique ability to communicate the love of God through his sense of humor, relatable life experiences, and genuine love for people. He was a pastor, teacher, father, coach, and friend.

Vincent was the beloved husband of his loving wife, Marcia; proud father to his sons, David and his wife Sharon, VJ and his wife Raquel, Christopher, Daniel and his wife Robin, Matheus, Lucas, and step-daughter Marcela; loving brother of his two sisters, Marjorie and Nancilee; proud uncle to his loving nephews (extended sons) Vincent, Daniel, and Casey; loving grandfather to his cherished grandchildren Gianna, Michael, and David; and spiritual father and friend to countless others. 

Viewing arrangements have been made at Wilfred Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home at 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny on Sunday July 10th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm as well as Monday July 11th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. 

Funeral Service to be held Tuesday, July 12th 11:00am in the Auditorium at Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center, 3300 River Road, Mt Bethel PA 18343. His burial will take place on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in The Moravian Cemetery 2205 Richmond Road Staten Island, NY.
