Nicholas Ferriero passed away on August 19, 2022 at his daughter Lois’ home in Kearny. He was 83. Born in Jersey City he lived in Harrison before moving to Wilksbarre, PA., many years ago. Private arrangements are by The Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home in Kearny.
Nick was retired from Pocono Downs Race Way in Wilksbarre, PA., where he had an exciting carrier as a Harness Driver. Husband of the late Barbara, he is survived by his children and their spouses; Nicholas Ferriero (Jamie), Daniel Ferriero (Laura) and Lois Ferriero Howell (Paul). He is also survived by his brother Thomas, his grandchildren; Danielle, Hunter, Catherine and Daniel along with many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
