Anne McLaughlin Rice, 88 of Harrison passed away on August 20, 2022.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Anne at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Thursday from 8:30 - 10 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church in Harrison at 10:30 AM, and burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
Born in Newark, Anne lived in North Arlington before moving to Harrison in 1983. She worked as a waitress at the 31 Club, and then the Spanish Pavilion in Harrison for many years. Anne met many lifelong friends while working at the 31 Club, and she cherished these friendships deeply. She also enjoyed volunteering at Holy Cross Church.
Anne was the beloved wife of the late George Rice; dear sister of Veronica Quillin; and step-mother of Carol Ann Tabor. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor in Totowa.
