Jose Manuel Arroja, 78, of East Newark formerely of Roseland passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023. Beloved father of Claudia C Porto and her husband Eric Nass, Ana Oliveira and her husband Eddie. Devoted grandfather of Mathew Porto and Brianna Oliveira. Cherished great grandfather of Angelina Porto. Dear brother of Fatima Arroja and Rui Arroja. Jose was a simple man, among many things he enjoyed to read literature, watch televised shows and had a keen craving for sweets. But, above all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Jose is predeceased by his brother Joao Arroja.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, September 5th, from 10-12;30pm in Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny.
Catholic funeral service will commence at 12:30pm in the funeral home.
Cremation will be held privately.
