Henrietta B. Tyburski, 94 of Kearny passed away on January 29, 2024.

Born in Passaic, Henrietta was a lifelong Kearny resident. She worked for RCA in Harrison for 20 years until becoming an executive secretary for L & R Manufacturing for 40 years, retiring at 80 years of age. Henrietta always looked forward to her monthly trips to the casinos in Atlantic City or Pennsylvania, where she hunted riches at the Wheel of Fortune machines. An active parishioner of St. Stephen’s Church, she regularly attended mass and bingo there. She was also a devoted member of the Henrietta Benstead Senior Citizen Center in Kearny.
Above all, Henrietta cherished time spent with her family, and especially enjoyed playing cards with her great-grandchildren.
Henrietta was the beloved wife of the late Henry Tyburski; loving mother of Gail Sopko and her husband Thomas; dear grandmother of Monique Lynn and her husband Bill Reed, Eric Sopko and Lindsey Tollefson and her husband Drew; and adoring great-grandmother of Isabella, Austin, Thomas, Dominick, Henry, Addison and Soren.
